Why does everybody wait six or seven weeks until January to set their health and fitness goals? Having this all or nothing approach is the very thing that sets you back and makes it even harder to stay motivated and stick to your goals. If you think that now is not the best time to start working out because of the holidays let me break it to you. There never is a better time, NOW is the best time!
Do not wait until January like everybody else, it will only be that much harder to get into eating healthy and training mode and it will be a shock to the system and you will end up giving up altogether, this is why these goals never get passed February.
I say enter a holiday challenge now, don't wait around! That doesn't mean you have to stay home every night and sulk you can still go to the parties, have your champagne and cake!
Just don't overindulge, and don't have an all or nothing attitude.
Plan ahead, build it into your program. Have a goal and work towards it.
